Setting Variables

To add variables:

1. Go to the RULES or MACROS section and select the rule from the list.

   For more information, see Creating Rules.

2. Right-click on a rule and select Set Variable from the menu.
3. To add a variable for a rule that is not a container, select Set Variable from the menu and choose one of these options: Before or After. If your rule is a container, you can choose one of these options: Before, After, or Into.

   

To display and edit the available variable properties, go to the PROPERTIES section, on the right side of the screen.

For better management of your rules you have the option of renaming any variable.

1. Go to the RULES section and select a rule from the list.
2. Select the variable that you want to rename, right-click and select Rename variable from the menu. If you want to apply this change in all the places where your variable appears, make sure that you select Apply name to all instances.
3. Click OK.
