Matching List Elements

The Lists section contains list structure elements.

  • Block List: indicates an element that automatically creates lists, together with list items, items body, and item labels from the selected area.
  • Block End Note List: indicates an element that automatically creates a set of list items in an end notes list. After the PDF Validation, the results from all the pages will be automatically joined in one list.
  • List: contains a collection of related items.
  • Item: indicates elements with markers, usually bullets or list numbering.
  • Label: indicates elements with bullets.
  • Item Body: contains the content information within an item.
  • Item Group: specifies the shortcut that includes the group of Item, Item Body and Note.
      Note:
    • The Item Group name is not visible into the RULES section. When you use this shortcut, Item Group is replaced by the Item hierarchy.
    • When you undo this action, the entire group of elements is removed from the RULES section.
  • Note List: indicates an explanatory list of items.
  • Note: indicates any explanatory content.
      Note:
    • The Note element should only be used for footnotes or endnotes.
    • The default Text Type property is set on Regular Expression
