Adding Breakpoints

RICOH Accessibility Designer allows you to customize the breakpoints for your rules so that the validation is temporarily stopped at that specific point. The breakpoints are used in the debugging process to identify the elements that are not matched correctly.

To add breakpoints:

  1. Go to RULES or MACROS view, located on the left side of the screen.
  2. Select a rule and from the right-click menu select Debugging ⇒ Add breakpoint.

A red circle will be attached next to the property where you added the breakpoints.
    Note:
  • You can also add breakpoints to rules in the macro view panel when editing macro definitions.

You can also verify your list of breakpoints by clicking the breakpoints icon, , located next to RULES.

A breakpoints panel is displayed and you can see all the breakpoints that you created. You can perform multiple actions from this panel. You can enable or disable one or more breakpoints or you can remove them.
