Menu Bar

The menu bar is available at the top of the Accessibility Designer user interface and it provides access to functions as project management, file editing, inserting elements, viewing PDF files and reviewing PDF matched content.

The menu bar lets you do the following:

  • Switch between the available menu options. Click the File tab, the Edit tab, or the Insert tab.

    You can also navigate between the tabs by keyboard, using the following key combinations: Tab or Shift+Tab.

  • Show the project name and the PDF file opened, at the top of the menu bar.
      Note:
    • The default project name generated by the system is Project 1.
  • Display the HTML version of the User’s Guide. Click the button and select Help.
  • See the version information for Accessibility Designer. Click the button and select About.
  • See the license information for Accessibility Designer. Click the button and select License.

In this section:

  1. File Tab
    On the File tab you have access to file management functions on the PDF documents and projects.
  2. Edit Tab
    On the Edit tab, you can do actions such as undo, redo, delete actions, or access the settings and enable or disable the ruler.
  3. Insert Tab
    The Insert tab lets you create rules on the PDF document. You can insert your rules in a hierarchical order maintaining a clear and logical structure.
  4. Toolbar
    The toolbar tab gives you control over layout options such as showing, zooming, or page navigation options as well as to the review options.
