Exporting configuration files

Export the font configuration files from your project for use with AFP2PDF Plus.

Make sure you have configured at least one font mapping in your project.

When you export, the tool creates the configuration files that AFP2PDF Plus uses for font mapping. Copy these files to your AFP2PDF Plus installation or specify this folder as the font configuration path.

To export configuration files:

  1. Select Project ⇒ Export.
    The browse folder dialog appears.
  2. Browse and select the destination folder for the configuration files.
    You can select an existing AFP2PDF Plus font configuration folder or create a new folder.
  3. Click OK.
    The tool exports these files to the selected folder:
    • afpfont.fnt
    • alias.fnt
    • a2pxopts.cfg
    • csdef.fnt
    • coded.fnt
    • cpdef.fnt
    • icoded.fnt

The configuration files are exported. You can now use these files with AFP2PDF Plus.

To use the exported configuration with AFP2PDF Plus, either:

  • Copy the files to the AFP2PDF Plus font configuration folder, or
  • Configure AFP2PDF Plus to use the export folder as the font configuration path
