Deleting Rules

You can delete rules from the workspace area.

To delete a rule:

  1. Select the rule to delete from the RULES or MACROS view, located on the left side of the screen.
  2. In the menu bar, click Edit.
  3. On the Objects section, click , the delete button.
      Note:
    • You can also select the matched rule from the workspace view and click , the delete button.
    • You can also delete rules in the macro view panel when editing macro definitions.

    Rules can be deleted at any time. However, you can delete one rule at a time.

    Deleting a header rule removes its associated element rules from the logical structure of the tagged PDF document.

    To update the Validate PDF window information after removing a rule from the structure hierarchy, click , the Refresh button.

    To undo a delete action, click , the Undo button.
