Exporting Coordinates in the Control File

These export options are available:

Fixed

Position

X or Y are absolute values, calculated from the top-left corner of the page and measured in inches.

Size

Width and Height are absolute values, measured in inches.

Absent

X or Y or width height values are not exported in the XML file for the element.

Note:
• By definition of the control file, if a value is missing, the value of the parent is used. The top-most parent is the page.

Relative

X or Y values are relative to the parent of the element. So the X or Y values are calculated by adding the X and Y of the current document to the position of the parent element.

Values obtained from operations:

Takes the information from the next image (X or Y).

• Next Image X Position
• Next Image Y Position

Next Line Y Position

Takes the Y position of the Next Line.

Next Line in Region Y Position

Takes the Y position of the Next Line in Region.

Note:
• In region refers to the position and size of the parent element, usually a repeating group.

Current Line Y Position

Takes the Y position of the Current Line.

Current Line in Region Y Position

Takes the Y position of the Current Line in Region.
