User Interface

Accessibility Designer provides an easy to use and intuitive user interface for editing and tagging universally-accessible PDF documents.

The user interface consists of the following areas:

  1. Menu bar with file management, file editing, inserting and viewing options.

  2. Document content area with sections for opened PDF files, macro definition files, and rules.

  3. Workspace area for matching elements on the currently opened PDF page.

  4. Properties area with information such as name, description, position, or alternative text.

In this section:

  1. Menu Bar
    The menu bar is available at the top of the Accessibility Designer user interface and it provides access to functions as project management, file editing, inserting elements, viewing PDF files and reviewing PDF matched content.
  2. Workspace
    The workspace area displays the PDF page that you are currently working on.
  3. Document Content
    The left panel is divided into sections to highlight the current PDF document you are working on and the rules applied to the document.
