Adding Name and Description
You can edit PDF rules to add name and descriptions to help you navigate through the
structure tree of the document.
- Name
- Specifies a user defined name for a given rule.
- Note:
- If the name is set to a particular rule, it becomes the representative text displayed in the RULES view for that rule.
- Description
- Adds a description to the element.

- Make sure to close and reopen the document hierarchy to refresh the rules updates.
- The rule description is not visible in the structure tree of the document.
