Copying, Cutting, and Pasting Rules
You can copy, cut, and paste document element rules in the RULES and MACROS view.
To copy or cut document element rules:
- On the left side of the screen, in the RULES or MACROS view, select the rules that you want to copy or cut.
- Right-click the selection and select Copy or Cut:
- Right-click the region and select Paste:
- Choose between the options to paste Before, After or Into the selected rule.
- Note:
- The name of a copied rule is
Copy of initial_rule_name. - The rule names of cut elements are not changed.
- Use Cut if you want to move the copied rule.
- Use Copy if you want to paste the selected rule multiple times.
- When pasting, the rule page is set to the current PDF page.
