Installing PDF2PDFUA using the graphic user interface

You must install PDF2PDFUA on the system where you plan to run PDF2PDFUA.

To install PDF2PDFUA:

  1. Download RTS--pdf2pdfua-1.4.3--pdf2pdfua_win.exe on Windows and RTS--pdf2pdfua-1.4.3--pdf2pdfua_linux.bin or RTS--pdf2pdfua-1.4.3--pdf2pdfua_aix.bin on Unix.
  2. To start the installation on a Windows operating system, log in as an administrator and double-click RTS--pdf2pdfua-1.4.3--pdf2pdfua_win.exe.
  3. On the Introduction screen, click Next to continue the installation process of the transform.

      Note:
    • To stop the installation process of the transform, click Cancel.

  4. In the License Agreement dialog box:
    1. Read the license agreement.
    2. Click I accept the terms of the license agreement.
    3. Click Next.

      Note:
    • If you do not accept the terms of the license agreement, you cannot continue the installation.

  5. In the Get User Input select one of the options depending on your needs and continue the installation steps.
  6. Then, choose the installation folder.
    You can either select Stand-alone PDF2PDFUA or Integrated with AFP2PDF Plus.
  7. The pre-installation summary panel appears just before the installation can begin. This shows what you have chosen to install and the location.
    To complete the installation process, click Install.

    The installing dialog is displayed to show the installation status.

  8. Click Done to close the installer.
