Enable multifactor authentication to increase the security of your account.
To strengthen the security of your account, you can enable multifactor authentication
for all users. RICOH TotalFlow Cloud provides multifactor authentication using the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP)
algorithm. After you enable it, users register an authenticator app to use with TotalFlow Cloud. The platform supports standard Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) compliant authenticator
apps that use the HMAC-SHA1 algorithm, such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator,
and Authy. Users must use the app every time they log in.
Note: If a user loses access to their phone, you can reset their account, so they can register
again when their phone is restored or replaced
To enable multifactor authentication:
Click the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Security section.
Click the switch for Multi-factor authentication to the on position.
In the dialog, confirm the action by clicking Turn on MFA.
The next time users log in, they are required to set up an authenticator app to use
with RICOH TotalFlow Cloud. We recommend alerting existing users to this extra step, to make sure they have an
authenticator app available on their phones.
