Considerations when upgrading to the latest version of InfoPrint Manager for Windows

Back up your entire machine using your backup software before you upgrade the Windows operating system.

Upgrade the Windows operating system to a version supported by InfoPrint Manager for Windows. For a list of supported Windows operating systems, see Server software prerequisites in the "Verifying prerequisites" chapter.

If the sap2afp feature was installed in InfoPrint Manager for Windows before upgrading to the latest InfoPrint Manager for Windows version, it might not have been removed from the Control Panel ⇒ ADD/Remove programs. Therefore, after reinstalling the sap2afp feature, two instances of sap2afp might appear in the Control Panel ⇒ ADD/Remove programs. This double entry causes no problems, and it can be ignored.
