Configuring the retention of imposed files

You can configure the retention of imposed files using the discardImposedFile parameter from the conf.properties file.

To configure the retention of imposed files:

Go to the TotalFlow BatchBuilder installation folder and edit the conf.properties file as an administrator.
The default installation folder is C:\Program Files\RICOH\TotalFlow BatchBuilder.
Set the value for the discardImposedFile parameter:
- false - Turns on the feature. This is the default value.
- true - Turns off the feature.
When the parameter is set to true, the application removes the imposed files after the batch is sent. If the parameter is missing completely from the conf.properties file or is set to false, the imposed files are kept until the job is deleted or reimposed.

When the retention of the imposed files is turned on, additional storage space might be required, depending on the number of jobs, job files, imposition frequency, imposition settings, and job retention period.
Restart the TotalFlow BatchBuilder service.
