Adding an InfoPrint Manager language

To add support for a language to InfoPrint Manager, complete these steps:
  1. Insert your InfoPrint product DVD-ROM containing the language that you want to add.
  2. Invoke the SMIT panel directly from the AIX command line by specifying either smit ipru_langsupp or smitty ipru_langsupp, or access the InfoPrint Utilities main menu:
    • If you have an InfoPrint Manager icon on your front panel, open InfoPrint Manager's menu and click the InfoPrint SMIT icon. Then click InfoPrint Utilities.
    • If you do not have an InfoPrint Manager icon on your front panel, open the InfoPrint folder in the Application Manager and double click the InfoPrint SMIT icon. Then click InfoPrint Utilities.
  3. ClickAdd or Remove Languages, then Add Language.
  4. Select one or more locales to add from the list presented. The list only contains locales that your system is able to support.
  5. Click OK.
Note: Make sure that you have installed service from the latest Service DVD-ROM.
